Well, it's the beginning of something I hope will help the men I most dearly love. Our Soldiers. They can be a rag tag bunch of guys, but they improvise, adapt and overcome.
They may know the glass is half empty, but they fight on like it's half full. Our Men are the best. They give all to be all that they can be. I started this website to give back something they need most, a shoulder to lean on, an ear to hear. There's so much they go through, but there's only so much the human mind can take. They need to get it out and I would like you to help me help them.
It's quite simple, just lend them an ear and listen. In the Bible, Job lost everything, he was sitting in ashes when his friends found him. Something that caught my eye though was the fact they wept with him and sat with him, quietly, for 7 days before he said anything. Unfortunately, they told him a lot of things that was not right, but what I could see in that story was how just being there could make a difference. Being there and just letting the misery pour out so someone don't have to bear it all in their mind. And over the years, I have found this works for a lot of people. Just listen. Maybe offer a little input, but don't judge them. Just hear them out and it seems to heal in a way. Pray for them. This is what we are about. Join me and make a difference.
