Sometimes the struggle is real. Flat tires, the bottom falls out of the water heater, wind damage to the roof after a storm and so on. The struggles come and they can seem easy to deal with at times, even thought they are difficult. "We got this" we say. But Joyce Meyers wrote a book about a struggle that can be difficult for even the hardest of people. It's called "The battlefield of the mind". The mind can play tricks on you. It can convince you that you can't cope. Sometimes in life the hardest battle is telling our mind we will prevail. The mental stresses of life can be more overwhelming than the mountain this guy is climbing in the picture. We have to realize tomorrow is another day and this too shall pass. Don't forget tactical breathing! Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.
Stop worrying about everything. Realize that it won't last forever and look to the Lord for the help you need if you find your in The Climb. And last, but not least, talk to someone. Remember, we're here and "You are not alone". There have been others on this mountain before. We might have some advice for you that could help. Just reach out and ask.
